Today's episode centers on the idea of working harder versus working intentionally. Before diving into today's episode, I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to all of you who have been reaching out via email. Being off social media for the past week has been a refreshing experience, and connecting with you in a more personal, pen pal-like way has been truly wonderful. I’m still figuring out my return to social platforms, but your emails have been a bright spot during this time.

Reflecting on my own upbringing, where hard work was glorified, I've come to realize the importance of working smart rather than just hard. My father's dedication to his job often came at the expense of his emotional well-being and family time, a pattern I see many of us unconsciously adopt.

We often believe that success requires relentless hard work. However, this mindset can lead to burnout and dissatisfaction. We may become fixated on one strategy, losing sight of easier, more effective solutions. Instead, I encourage you to focus on intentional action towards your goals.
Consider the story of the fisherman who finds fulfillment in a simple, balanced life, contrasting with the businessman’s vision of success that ultimately leads back to the same simple life. This story beautifully encapsulates the idea that success isn’t about working harder, but about working intentionally and aligning your actions with your true desires.
The importance of knowing your priorities and how they should guide your work. For example, financial rewards might be a priority at one point, while at another, it could be about what brings you joy or aligns with your values.

In my Luminate program, I emphasize building a business that aligns with your strengths and desires, utilizing your existing resources and knowledge. Success doesn't have to mean more work; it can mean smarter work. Join me as we explore how to redefine success and find fulfillment in working intentionally, not just harder.
