“I used to be the largest dairy consumer on the planet. I used to eat so much dairy and meat. The more that I looked into the dairy industry, the more that I saw that it was the singular, most inhumane industry on the planet, that we've all been lied to, including myself, for years. I always believed that the picture on the milk carton, the cow standing next to her calf in the green field with the red barn in the back was true. It’s certainly the complete opposite.” – Richard (Kudo) Couto Richard (Kudo) Couto is the founder of Animal Recovery Mission (ARM), an organization solely dedicated to investigating extreme animal cruelty cases. ARM has led high-risk undercover operations that have resulted in the shutdown of illegal slaughterhouses, animal fighting rings, and horse meat trafficking networks. Recently, they released a damning investigation into two industrial dairy farms outside of Phoenix, Arizona supplying milk to Coca-Cola’s Fairlife brand. What they uncovered was systemic animal abuse, environmental violations, and a devastating betrayal of consumer trust. While Fairlife markets its products as being sourced "humanely," ARM’s footage tells a very different story—one of suffering, abuse, and corporate complicity. Despite the evidence, this story has been largely ignored by mainstream media—likely due to Coca-Cola’s massive influence and advertising dollars.…

(This episode was recorded on June 16, but is being released on June 18 due to some technical delays.) In this episode, co-hosts Josh Eppinger and Mark Geise discuss the Phil Housley hire. We discussed this ad nauseam last podcast, so there wasn’t too much to add in this podcast. We discuss some players for whom this hire will be best, among them being Brendan Guhle and Zach Bogosian (if he remains a Sabre). We also preview the expansion draft by discussing some tough choices for the most interesting teams. We each give our projected Sabres lists. Both of us had the same forward group being protected, but Mark had Bogosian being protected and Josh had Justin Falk being protected in their projections. Mark also believed Robin Lehner would be protected, while Josh argued that Linus Ullmark would be protected. Thanks for listening! https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/sabretalk/June+18+2017+Podcast.mp3…
In this episode, co-hosts Josh Eppinger and Mark Geise discuss the recent news that Bob Boughner will likely be introduced as the head coach of the Florida Panthers on Monday. This likely narrows the Sabres’ decision to Nashville assistant Phil Housley and Pittsburgh assistant Rick Tocchet. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tomorrow (Sunday) night, so we may see a conclusion to that series by the end of the weekend. We also discuss potential Evander Kane destinations via trade and the situation regarding RFAs Robin Lehner, Marcus Foligno, Zemgus Girgensons, and Johan Larsson. We discuss the NBA Finals vs. the Stanley Cup Finals, the expansion draft, and much more. Thanks as always for listening. In this episode, I discuss the Sabres’ 4-0 loss to the Boston Bruins on Monday night. Specific topics discussed include: The Sabres gave up eight power plays to the Bruins tonight and surrendered three goals on those power plays. Without good special teams play, this is not a good team. Robin Lehner shouldn’t be blamed for this loss, but he certainly wasn’t the “God” Lehner we saw in Ottawa. The Gorges-Ristolainen pairing was throttled tonight. The Baptiste-Grant-Carrier line really struggled. I will continue to harp on it: this team lacks skill, and that is its biggest weakness. In this episode, I discuss my hiatus. I am now back for good with a new mic, so I do not envision any more issues with getting this podcast out regularly. The sound quality of this show should also be greatly improved from this point forward. Next, I discuss the Sabres season to date. Specific topics discussed include: Dan Bylsma has adjusted his putrid system after a concerning start. Tim Murray continues to ignore depth and Rochester. Kyle Okposo has fit right in next to Ryan O’Reilly. Matt Moulson and Tyler Ennis (at least in the last two games) have been pleasant surprises. Foligno-Larsson-Gionta has once again emerged as a go-to agitating line. The old Rasmus Ristolainen is back, but he could be even better paired with Jake McCabe rather than Josh Gorges. I remain unconvinced that Robin Lehner will be a high level #1 goaltender. https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/sabretalk/November+1+2016+Podcast.mp3…
