Hey Sats Crew,
It is important to be prepared in case something bad happens domestically. Whether it is an earthquake, tornado, EMP, or something worse - it never hurts to be prepared and have a plan of action, alongside resources, food, and water.
In today's podcast, I talk about what I am doing and why it's good to have options during these times. Specifically, I go over important points like:
- Living in a point in time where tensions have never been higher and polarization has never been wider
- Discussion of extreme preppers & what makes many people’s eyes roll
- A variety of things can happen earthquakes, tornados, EMPs, nukes, viruses, oil supply shocks, and much more
- Worst case you have some food/water supplies ready if you need it
- In the best case you can survive long enough to find a new home if yours goes under
- Many preppers are gold and silver bugs
- I question many of you to question Bitcoin as a role in your prepping
- What if your bug-out isn’t in the U.S., how do you move your value with you?
- What if extreme hyperinflation hits, how do you protect yourself?
- Bitcoin isn’t immune to EMPs or Nukes, but it does allow another way to hedge your bets on the insolvency of the U.S. alongside mitigating disasters
- Prep across all areas - not just money… Also, don’t just look at money, look at tangible goods as well.
