In the second part we are looking back at the life of Czech poet, translator, pedagogue and philanthopist Hana Gerzanicova. After the WW2 she escaped the communist Czechoslovakia and joined her beloved Vaclav. They got married and the young couple continued their journey to Australia to find happiness here. They had six children together and Hana manged to succeed in her carrer as well.

It didn´t all go as planned though…

Ve druhém díle vyprávění se vracíme za českou básnířkou, překladatelkou, pedagožkou a plzeňskou mecenáškou Hanou Gerzanicovou do Sydney. Hana po druhé světové válce utekla za hranice za svým milým Václavem. Společně se pak mladí manželé vypravili do Sydney, aby tady začali nový život. Tady se Hana vypracovala až na zástupkyni ředitelky v místní škole, krom toho také vychovala svých šest dětí, překládala a vydávala básně.

Život Hany Gerzanicové by vydal a román…ostatně, když se s básnířkou, která prožila většinu života v Austrálii, sešel nakladatel Miloslav Krist, původně s plánem vydat sbírku jejích básní, kniha o Hanině životě z toho opravdu vznikla.
