Over the weekend, we got the news that Warner Bros. Discovery has made a new multi-year deal for the overseas theatrical distribution rights for MGM films. Which means at a certain point, WB will be distributing stuff like the James Bond films. Eventually.
Plus: Nexstar has just closed a deal for a majority ownership of The CW, and they're about to launch the network in a completely new direction that has no resemblance to what the channel's done before.
Are these good deals?
