The rule of thirds is one of the first rules of photography and filmmaking that you will learn. Unfortunately if you were like me and never took a class, you didn’t learn this right away. Adding camera movements to your shots is a way to add another element to the story you’re trying to tell. I discuss some basic tips that I use to add movements to my shots. I also talk about planning your shots, or in my case the lack there of, and how in either case you can create sequences that will add to your story.
