Alessandro Scaccia is currently the head chef of the Kle Restaurant in Zurich.

He comes from the beautiful Lake Como, where he discovered the love for cooking. After he studied in the culinary school, he started his journey to understand what it means to be a chef.
Throughout his working experiences, he had the privilege to work with many inspiring people such as Andreas Caminada, Stefan Heilemann and Zineb Hattab.
Alessandro started the plant-based journey in his life with "Zizi" and alongside her, the birth of Kle Restaurant started.
His father is since 60 years vegetarian and his girlfriend is vegan, both show that it is possible to live without consuming animal products.
The Restaurant Kle, is not only for vegan people, but the idea to bring curiosity to the people for tastes, possibilities and on to awareness of sustainability, organic and plant-based creative menus and business.

When Alessandro is not in the kitchen, you will probably find him on his bike or running through the woods training for a long-distance triathlon. Endurance sports are one of his greatest passions in life.
