Slap Yo' Daddy BBQ's, Harry Soo Spreads Barbecue Love, Sports Radio's, Angelo Cataldi Gets Loud, and Spring Training Correspondent, Gary Looney Helps Usher In the 2024 MLB Season

Harry Soo is back and wants to spread barbecue love. Harry has retired from his 9 to 5 job and is now a full-time pitmaster with lots of projects. He became a champion pitmaster purely by chance. It was on his "bucket list" to enter a barbecue competition and with the nudging of a fellow co-worker he did and the rest as they say is history. Harry has more than 100 first place finishes, 30 Grand Championships, is a television personality (Food Network, Chopped, Smoked, BBQ Pitmasters), and makes and posts incredible videos on YouTube. We are joined by guest contributor, Ray Sheehan. More information on Harry Soo can be found at https://www.slapyodaddybbq.com/

Angelo Cataldi has been the voice of morning sports talk radio in Philadelphia for over 30 years on 94 WIP. Prior to that Angelo was a writer for the Providence Journal and later for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Known as “Mr. Philadelphia’s Sports Talk Radio" he brought passionate discussions, expert analysis, and unfiltered opinions to the ears of countless listeners. Angelo details his life and career in his book, Loud: How a Shy Nerd Came to Philadelphia and Turned Up the Volume in the Most Passionate Sports City in America. More information on Angelo Cataldi can be found at https://angelocataldi.com/

Gary Looney returns for his annual appearance which means that the baseball season is about to begin. Jeff first met Gary in 2020 at the Los Angeles Angels spring training camp complex in Arizona and a friendship quickly developed. Gary once again offers great insight into spring training, the just started baseball season, and what camp is like without Shohei Ohtani. Having him on has become an annual tradition and his baseball knowledge is a great addition.

We conclude the show with the song, Baseball Always Brings You Home from the musician, Dave Dresser and the poet, Shel Krakofsky.

We recommend you go to Baseball BBQ, https://baseballbbq.com for special grilling tools and accessories, Magnechef https://magnechef.com/ for excellent and unique barbecue gloves, Cutting Edge Firewood High Quality Kiln Dried Firewood - Cutting Edge Firewood in Atlanta for high quality firewood and cooking wood, Mantis BBQ, https://mantisbbq.com/ to purchase their outstanding sauces with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Kidney Project, and for exceptional sauces, Elda's Kitchen https://eldaskitchen.com/ We truly appreciate our listeners and hope that all of you are staying safe.
