Codie Sanchez is an entrepreneur, investor, speaker and the Head of Latin America for First Trust Portfolios. She's raised billions of dollars over the last 10 years in asset management, consulted on investing at some of the world's most powerful institutions such as Apple, Facebook, Amazon, and invested in/advised 24 startups to date. Prior to that, she worked on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs, State Street and Vanguard and started two companies before she turned 30. She started her career as a journalist where she won the JFK Award for Print Journalism as well as a grant from the Howard Buffett Foundation. She has an MBA from Georgetown University, Masters from ESADE and FGV and a BA from Arizona State University.
