Tara Sutphen CHt & Jason D McKean CHt will interview RC Matheson - Author, Screen Writer & Producer. RC has been plenty busy during covid, he's been writing and writing and writing more. There are new books and exciting scripts. The list begins, he's penning and producing a Stephen King project. He'll also be producing a Sci-fi film with Viola Davis next year; it will be directed by the Hunger Games director. Then there are the new and shiny books: “The Fevered Stars” and “Borderlands 7” and 4 RC books published in Italy. His short story collection “Dystopia” was a #1 bestseller twice on Amazon. He has six stories featured in major collections this year. “Body Shocks” ‘The Best of Dark Terrors” “Classic Monsters Unleashed” and if he isn't busy enough, he's also writing 3 TV scripts, directing a Zoom film right now; and he has a new music album; ”Fool Skool” by the “Pearly King and the Temple Thieves” and that will be available soon.
RC is featured in G.Q. Magazine close-up of his book Zoopraxis. It will be out in expanded edition with 8 new stories available next month from Amazon. He has written for Richard Donner, Ivan Reitman, Joel Silver, Steven Spielberg, Bryan Singer, Roger Corman wto only name a few. He is considered a cutting-edge voice in surreal, psychological horror fiction. Stephen King compares him to Ray Bradbury and terms his work Remarkable and Ray Bradbury called RC’s work first class and stunning.
ROLLING STONE calls Matheson one of a handful of resourceful, fear-minded authors helping to create a new sensibility in horror fiction that is as frightening and merciless as the modern world itself. Matheson is considered an expert on the occult and worked with the UCLA Parapsychology Labs, investigating haunted houses and paranormal phenomenon.
