They discuss what their lives have been like surviving his suicide. They also get candid about what they went through prior to his passing. They also talk about how they’ve both moved forward with their lives after Syd’s failed suicide attempt in 2016. In a study comparing parents who made use of the Internet and those who used in-person groups, the Web users liked the unlimited time and 24-hour availability of Internet support. Survivors who were depressed or felt stigmatized by the suicide were more likely to gain help from Internet support services.
