This topic comes from personal experience and curiosity about my own choices in my 20's. I had a thing for torturing myself with unhealthy relationships. Much of my story comes from trying to heal from these toxic relationships after my confidence was torn down, my perception of reality was so skewed, and I didn't think I could trust myself anymore.

It only makes sense that I get a therapist on the show to dive into all of it!

Natalie Hartney is a board-certified counselor working in private practice since 2014, and she's the host of the Bad Childhood By The Optimistic Therapist podcast. You can hear the empathy in her voice when she talks about toxic relationships, she offers so much perspective. I know you'll love this conversation!
