Episode Summary

Sometimes, doesn’t it seem like success oozes so easily from some of the people who surround us, whether they occupy a place of national or international recognition or are found in our own communities?

We might wonder and marvel at the picture perfect lifestyles they must have judging from all the trappings of success we see and perceive occurring in their lives. The truth of the matter though is that they are 100% bona fide human beings just like the rest of us - experiencing those highs, lows and in-between life whatevers we all face… it’s part of humanity.

In today’s Victory in Mind Podcast episode, I thought to share some keys of success gleaned from some of the lives of these said individuals, that are worthy of yours and my consideration as we press on towards successfully achieving our life goals.

Be encouraged as you live with victory in mind!

TIME-STAMPED SHOW NOTES

[00:00:43] Introduction to the show and today’s focus, highlighting some real keys to success.

[00:01:13] General ways we define success today, like the Elon Musks of our world versus that teacher that all the students love.

[00:01:50] Let’s keep in mind that the very key ingredients that got them to where they are are not unique traits per se.

[00:02:24] Nor do all the successful people we know come from a background with silver spoons in their mouths.

[00:03:04] The truth is that we each walk our own journey so what an external observer sees in reality, never quite meets the expectations we set up in our minds.

[00:03:55] Perhaps instead, we can glean information, keys to their possible success and work on those areas in our lives. Here are six keys to success to consider.

[00:05:30] Number one, facing fear.

[00:06:52] Number two, tenacity.

[00:08:01] Number three, failure, is part of the journey.

[00:08:54] Number four, strengthening yourself with what you have built up form the inside.

[00:09:43] Number five, being humble.

[00:11:00] Number six, being willing to learn.

[00:11:53] Here’s one of those comfortable, uncomfortable questions…
