Healing from sexual assault and rape takes time, patience, and a lot of support. In this episode, I answer a listener question from someone who is deciding whether or not to press charges in regards to their sexual assault. I also answer a question from someone who was recently raped and is having many feelings and does not know where to start. This is the third episode I have done on healing from sexual assault and rape. Please listen to episodes 46: Healing Sexual Trauma: Recovering from Sexual Assault & Rape through Healing One Layer at a Time and 8: Healing from Rape & Sexual Assault: Learning to Love Ourselves Again After Sexual Violence for more teachings and to learn more.

If you or someone you know is struggling to heal from sexual assault, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673 or visit https://www.rainn.org/ to learn more. Please take care of yourself.
