As Caregivers, we're all under tremendous pressure and sometimes that leads us to say things we regret. S#*-T happens and it can lead to short and long bouts of anger.

However, anger doesn’t just happen, it grows from something small, lingers, takes over, and can blow up suddenly. Anger begets more anger. Sometimes the parents we love and care for get intensely angry at us. We get angry at them. Siblings get angry at us, and we back at them. The list can go on.

Caring for an aging parent can take us all over the edge. In this episode, we dive into ways you can manage anger so that it doesn’t take you over, and hurt you, your family, your parents, or your career while caring for an aging loved one.

Episode highlights:

  • What’s psychosomatic medicine and how can it help you?
  • Why most doctors don’t know how to help with your anger issues?
  • Learn how many medical professionals get caught up in anger, and how this can impact you and your parents.
  • How a toy saved one family’s anger
  • How to recognize when anger is about to get the better part of you.
  • Learn how to diffuse anger and reduce stress more easily.
