Wkly Wisdom Drop WITH SPECIAL GUEST, Mackenzie
Manage episode 339651453 series 3241195
This is an episode you won't want to miss! Mackenzie, a young woman from Central Iowa, found herself with a life-altering injury in August, 2021. Listen in as she recalls the accident, the days and weeks following, and how she credits MINDSET with her recovery.
Mackenzie sustained a spinal cord injury on Aug. 5, 2021, and has had to adapt every facet of her life to accommodate her new set of wheels. I am so grateful for her willingness to take us on the journey of her recovery. She credits her support system and her mantras for her ability to adapt and overcome. Post-interview parting thoughts from Mackenzie include "your body responds to your words" and when she's feeling discouraged or hits a wall in therapy, she tells herself "this is where you get stronger". Thank you for blazing a trail for us, Mackenzie. Love and light to you now and always.
