Unfortunately, stress is a certainty in life. Even more so today than ever before. We’ve been living through a worldwide health pandemic, pressures to constantly produce and achieve, uncertainty over the future of in-person learning for students. Everyday is filled with situations and moments that create stress. It’s up to us to learn how to implement coping mechanisms to battle this chaos.

In this episode I discuss:

  • The definition of stress
  • How our bodies react and change under stress
  • The relaxation response and it's impact on our bodies

I end the episode with a short body scan exercise to elicit the relaxation response!
