“At times we tend to think we have to stay in these relationships that are not working for us. We have to stay in this friendship that is not working. No, you don't because staying in that friendship or that relationship, you're dying. You're dying inwardly. You're dying outwardly. You just die, you're perishing or because you wanna save face or because you want to belong again that belonging that wanted to be loved, there comes a time when you have to think, now I need to step away” -Verna Haywood
