Jen McLellan was excited to start a family but as she looked around for examples of happy plus sized pregnant women, she found that most of those searches came up with results for a lot of gloom and doom and cropped out bodies. Jen had a healthy birth with the help of a doula and was inspired to help other women not feel so alone in their plus sized pregnancy journey. If you are a person of size, you may relate to many of Jen’s experiences. If you are a person of less size, you will benefit from learning what it is to experience life in a larger body. One of the topics we discussed is diversifying your social media feed to allow yourself to learn from people with different experiences. Hope you enjoy listening to Jen McLellan as much as I enjoyed talking with her.
