Welcome to the Macro Phase Series!

Have you ever felt frustrated because you're not seeing the muscle gains you want, despite putting in work at the gym? The macro phase you're in plays a huge role in your results. Now, this might sound wild to some of you, but in order to build muscle, you actually need to be consuming more calories than you burn each day.

Today, we are going to be talking about the final phase of this five-part macro series, which not everyone will enter. But I really encourage anyone to enter this phase, if your goal is to build muscle, and I know it can be really scary.

In this episode, we are diving into the surplus phase, the calorie surplus, often called a build or a “bulk” phase. Or, as I like to use the term build phase, or simply just call it a calorie surplus. But a build phase is really where we want to be in order to build muscle more efficiently. We’ll be covering how to actually implement a surplus, what you can expect in a surplus, how long to be there, and I’ll also dive into my personal experience going through a surplus. So without further ado, let's dive right on in!
