Serena Mastin is the Founder and President of Pulse Marketing, an award-winning boutique marketing and advertising agency dedicated to impacting brand exposure, sales, and revenue to achieve results for unique organizations. Serena has over 20 years of experience in the marketing industry and progressively climbed the corporate ladder before founding Pulse Marketing. She is also the published author of Exposed: You Can’t Heal When You Hide, a memoir sharing her healing journey. In her book, Serena reveals the traumatic obstacles she overcame, including abuse, assault, homelessness, and addiction, before finding her true purpose.

Business leader Serena Mastin confides that her mind and body protected her during dissociation shortly after being rescued from childhood trauma. However, as she grew older, the memories resurfaced, triggering episodes of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Fortunately, she was able to address these challenges through counseling. While everyone who has experienced suffering and anguish copes differently, Serena refused to let her circumstances define her. She adopted a survivor's mentality and let her challenges motivate her to succeed. Serena eventually built a thriving career in the corporate world before starting her own business. Despite her many accomplishments, she faced new obstacles, but her past hardships gave her the strength to persevere and rebuild, which she reveals in her memoir.
