In this episode, Dr. Rachel Scheinfield and I discuss attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and when it may be valuable to refer our clients for psychological evaluation for ADHD. We also discuss the benefits of the evaluation, for both the treating clinician and the client, as well as what to expect with an evaluation.

Rachel is a licensed psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. She specifically work with individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, learning and executive functioning difficulties, mood disorders, social difficulties, behavioral challenges, and school refusal. Rachel's services include individual therapy, family therapy, parent coaching, psychological evaluations, and educational consultation with schools Rachel has worked in private practice for over 13 years, and was previously a school psychologist in a very well-renown high school in the Chicago suburbs (with approximately 4,000 students).
