I am currently writing a guided meditation about rewilding the body as there seem to be many misconceptions about the word.

Rewilding isn’t about trying to go back to living as hunter-gatherers. Rather, it's about examining our cultural paradigms, seeing how they affect our spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional health.

We don’t have to demonize our culture in order to Rewild ourselves, because urbanization is an aspects of ourselves too. We can however, with awareness, learn what aspects of our modern culture rob us of our basic humanity, our intuition and our freedom.

Using that awareness, we can live in our culture (and ourselves) more courageously, express ourselves more authentically, and live more attuned to the natural forces that help guide us through life.

Some Rewilding questions you might like to ask yourself today!

- What roles don't allow me to walk barefooted in my life? (wife/husband/parent/job role/carer/sister/brother etc.)

- Why can’t I express my wilder Self in these roles?

- What one part of me can I allow to slowly grow wild again in this role? (e.g if you feel overly domesticated in your partnership, can you nurture your need for adventure? Or If your job restricts you in unhealthy ways, how can you speak up for your creative needs more? Is parenthood overwhelming? How can you find more play in this role? How do you feel about your own body? Can you give the ‘farming' of your body a rest and let it blossom in its own beautiful way?)

Much more to come on this topic, so keep finding your wild :)
