Dr. Gerald Smith began working with couples who were having difficulties in their relationship in 1962. For decades has specialized in meeting with individuals, families and has work with hundreds of couples who are faced with some difficult transitions. Usually this work has been short-term, as few as three or four meetings. Dr. Smith is an author of 2 books and has led 120 workshops at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.
