Back to school season is in full swing, and we're all trying to wake up earlier. How can caregivers get kids out of bed in time for school without fights or power struggles? Even though most schooling is happening remotely this fall, students, parents and teachers still need to be awake and functional for that first remote class of the day. Today's episode covers how we can reduce the stress of waking up early, dial down family tension around sleep schedules, and get everyone's school year off to a better, more rested start.

BIO: Dr. Scott T. Bonvallet, MD is Medical Director of the Overlake Sleep Disorders Center in Bellevue, Wash., and is board certified in sleep medicine, pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Bonvallet has been in private practice for more than 15 years and has been recognized multiple times as a Top Doctor by both the Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan magazine. He’s the father of three grown children and a six-time Ironman Canada competitor.
