Seven months into remote learning, some students are thriving while others struggle. How can parents and caregivers support students' mental and emotional health during this long phase? Today's episode covers the upsides and the drawbacks of this extended stretch of home-based learning and how families can cope with uncertainty, soothe anxiety, and minimize conflict during this uncharted adventure.

BIO: Gretchen Campbell is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and founder of Grow, Encourage, Empower, a counseling practice in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina focused on the needs of youth, young adults, and parents. In addition to therapeutic counseling for tweens/teens and parent education, she is creator of the online and offline community Brown Girlz Do, a safe space for young girls and women to show up as their authentic selves and connect while doing things they love. She’s also the author of I'm a Mom of a Teen Girl, Help!, released in 2019.
