After a two week hiatus, SWWC is back! In this longer episode of the So What, Who Cares? podcast, I had several engaging conversations at the recent Home Care Association of Florida’s Annual Summit in Orlando. First up in this episode is Bill Dombi, Vice President of Law for the National Association of Home Care (NAHC). Very informative discussion with the leading legal mind in the Home Care space. Then around the 20 minute mark, Leanne Norr, the Communications Director for HCAF, shares what really goes into running a state association and conference – as well as discussing some of Florida’s leading advocacy causes. Around the 37 minute mark, I am joined by Cory Mertz and Joe Falco of Mertz Taggert to discuss the latest trends and information relative to the Merger & Acquisition market. I ask some really dumb questions, but get some smart answers about what goes into selling an agency in today’s market.
