It is a quiet one however a critical one. Patients are finding their voice and are driving conversations in various arenas that are not necessarily in your traditional healthcare space. The movement has grown significantly since the advent of the social web. They are driving change. In this episode I interview the President of the Patients Association of Canada, Sholom Glouberman. Sholom will share how the association is facilitating change and partnering with both patients and health care providers to improve the health care management. Guest Bio Sholom Glouberman Sholom Glouberman is President of the Patients’ Association of Canada. He has been Philosopher in Residence at the Kunin Lunenfeld Applied Research Unit of the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto for almost 20 years. His first prolonged experience in the health field was caring for his dying father. He later managed planning at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal.
