David Kingston is making a name from himself as a songwriter in Los Angeles. In this episode he talks us through his craft, how he ended up going to Berklee College of Music, the risks of pursuing music and the importance of listening during sessions.
Davin Kingston is a Los Angeles-based songwriter, producer, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, and vocal producer signed to Arthouse and Intervale Songs. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2021 and moved to Los Angeles soon after. Recent credits include “I Don’t Love You Like I Used To” by John Legend, “Detatched” and “Messed Up On Christmas” by Lyn Lapid, “something new” by Kira Kosarin, "Barcelona" by Jonah Kagen, "Two People" and “Hey Little Sister” by Rowan Drake, “To Love Someone Else” and “Holding My Own Hand” by Avery Lynch (6/6 songs on EP), "Typical of Me” by Laufey, and “If I Were A Friend” and “rest in peace” by Blu Eyes. Davin has established himself as an artist-first writer & producer, known for his role in developing artists Avery Lynch, Blu Eyes, Savannah Sgro, Zevia, and Laufey.
