My next guest is a walking embodiment of triumph through pain. He exemplifies how it’s by playing life hard and doing things that suck we can get that sweet payoff.
He now not only shares his story as part of newsbreaking takedowns of our most notorious terrorists but also the devastating toll this lifestyle had on his physical and mental health.
Join us this week as we learn how Dave found hope and healing through the darkness and what advice he offers others to come out okay on the other side.
Dave Fielding is a U.S. Army Green Beret turned spy. He has worked for every US intelligence agency, relentlessly pursuing threats to national security.
He is also an Eagle Scout, avid CrossFit athlete, ultramarathon runner, and Norwich University Military College of Vermont graduate.
A lifetime pursuer of hard things, he grew up as a blue-collar kid north of Boston. He is a Bronze Star recipient, Operation Inherent Resolve, and Operation Enduring Freedom veteran.
In his book “Into The Darkness: A Journey of Love, War, and Emotional Freedom” he takes the reader on a gripping journey through his battle with suicide.
In his fight every day for healing, he unlocks hyper self-awareness by asking “why” and finds peace with his demons by “owning his shit.”
