We live in a world of sampling & scrolling. But everywhere we look, someone’s asking us to “like & subscribe” (literally and figuratively). Obviously, we ignore them. We browse anonymously, hold relationships loosely, and confirm plans with a “maybe”. We don’t want to miss out on anything or
be tied down to anyone. We prefer to keep our options open. We admire commitment, we’re just not sure the cost is worth it. In our culture, everything’s disposable and everyone’s replaceable. But we don’t seem to find this way of living all that fulfilling. So, what do we do about it?
