Intro/Welcome for our third show: Empty Holidays: Reclaiming the Joy Sacred Space meditation to open the circle. Book of the week with Debbie (might be a video/movie too!) Goddess of the week with Shauna. The holidays can be full of obligation, consumerism and stress. For some it is a sad reminder of loss or a sense of percieved failure. Many families are not close and so the ideals of the seasons are felt to be lacking. Travelling through our seven main energy centers known as "chakras", the Spirit Sisters will guide you on how to create rituals and set intention for joy. Shauna and Debbie will also briefly explore some lesser known back stories of the Christmas season. For example: What does bringing a tree inside the house have to do with the birth of Jesus? And how does a Shamanic tradition connect with Santa? How did the tradition of Christmas lights begin? The hope is once you hear some of the full story you may have a whole new outlook on the Holiday season and apply some new personal rituals of your own you will find joy in the holidays again! Closing the sacred space & Goodbye for 2016. Next show will air on Tuesday, January 3 at 8:00 pm. Topic: Dreaming: Free Therapy!
