We have been inundated over the last decade or so with movie sequels and remakes that come a long time after their originals, usually trying to capitalize on some form of nostalgia. So this week, we’re going to look at one of the first films to do this and it turns out to be one with the longest gap. Psycho 2 was released a good 23 years after the original Hitchcock masterpiece and hoped to recapture some of the suspense, horror, weirdness and magic of it’s predecessor. Does it succeed?
