After the multimedia extravaganza that was Episode 100, we keep the fireworks going by inviting first time guest and first time designer Carl Robinson. Carl has designed Kelp, a two-player asymmetrical game that offers players a unique opportunity to delve into the natural world of Pyjama Sharks and Common Octopuses, set in a South African kelp forest. Those were absolutely my words alone, and not a cut and paste from Board Game Geek.

In addition to discussing the story behind that game, Dan, Carl and Mike have a wide ranging conversation that includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Dan's impressions of this year's Essen Spiel which he absolutely did not attend.
  • Mike and Carl's impressions of this year's Essen Spiel which they absolutely did attend.
  • Kendal Mint Cake.
  • Urinal Cakes, plus bonus toilet discussion.
  • Extra bonus toilet serenades.
  • Teaching children how to play Poirot.
  • How people in the North of England count sheep.

All of this, plus Dan's Soundtrack game, A Few Acres of Rubbish, and a disgusting amount of board game discussion.
