Jingle bells, batman smells, Sinbad cracks a joke, and Arnie saves the day hey! As we continue our Merry F@#&ing Xmas we take a trip down that good ole holiday memory lane as we review 1996s Jingle All The Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. In this wacky outing Arnie trades his machine guns for candy canes. After letting his son Jaime (played by Jake Lloyd, future Anakin Skywalker) down numerous times by letting work get in the way, he goes for the Hail Mary to make it up to him by getting the season’s hottest toy, the Turbo Man action figure while trying to get it on the worst day of shopping, Christmas Eve.As long as you take the movie as it is, which at the core it’s simply just a holiday comedy for kids, then you won’t be disappointed. If you try to take it serious by any means then you are most definitely setting yourself up for a letdown. I have no clue as to why you would even remotely try to take this film seriously when Arnold punches out a reindeer followed by having a beer with it in the back yard!So sit back with a cup of hot cocoa, some fresh baked cookies, find your Christmas spirit and have a listen.
