Well film fans it's that time again around here at Super Film Bros. Studios! Time for a BONUS EPISODE! This time around we're taking a stab at a Netflix Original film suggeseted by our dear friend Frank. Upon his request we watched Message From The King starring none other than Black Panther himself Chadwick Boseman.

This film is sort of a gritty noire detective thriller mixed with a good old fashioned revenge flick so if that sounds like your cup of tea go ahead and give our review a listen. Boseman stars as Jacob King a South African visiting Los Angeles in order to find the whereabouts of his sister who has gone missing. What he soon uncovers leads him on a trail of revenge and danger involving a crooked dentist (played by Luke Evans) and a rich and pedophilic film mogul (played by Alfred Molina) that really throw the viewer for a loop (not in a good way).

The film is shot well and the actors do a fine job considering the material they have, but overall the film drags (earlier on especially), you don't ever really feel like the protagonist is in any real danger save for one scene in particular and the plot is too convoluted for its own good. Its not a bad film by any means it just could have been so much more.
