Hey there, surfers! This is your go-to surf forecast report coming straight from the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard. So, what's the scoop for today and tomorrow on the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches?
Well, we've got a moderate rip current risk, with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. No thunderstorms on the horizon, water temperatures between 57 to 63 degrees, and a mix of west and south swells to keep things interesting.
Moving on to Ventura County Beaches, be prepared for a high rip current risk, with surf heights of 3 to 5 feet. The water will be a bit cooler at 57 to 59 degrees, but there's still a mix of west and south swells rolling in.
Over in Santa Barbara County, it's looking more mellow with a low rip current risk and smaller surf heights of 1 to 3 feet. West swells are the name of the game today and tomorrow.
If you're heading to San Luis Obispo County or Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, get ready for some bigger waves. Surf heights are ranging from 5 to 8 feet today and 4 to 7 feet tomorrow. Plus, a northwest swell will keep things exciting.
Just a reminder, always be alert to rip currents, even at low risk levels. Stay safe out there and catch some epic waves, surfers!
