Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! Ready to catch some waves and enjoy the sun? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for the California coast with a mix of fun and information!
Starting off at the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a moderate rip current risk today with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. So, keep an eye out and ride those mixed south and west swells. Don't forget your sunscreen with water temperatures between 57 to 64 degrees.
Ventura County Beaches are calling with a high rip current risk today but don't let that deter you from the surf heights of 2 to 4 feet. Tomorrow, expect the rip current risk to amp up to high with taller waves at 3 to 5 feet. Get ready to ride the mixed west and south swells!
Heading over to Santa Barbara County, the southwestern and southeastern coasts are looking good with a low rip current risk and surf heights between 1 to 3 feet. Grab your board and enjoy the west swell rolling in.
Further up the coast at San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, we're seeing some bigger waves today at 5 to 8 feet, courtesy of a northwest swell. So, if you're up for a challenge, this might be your spot!
Remember, always stay safe, watch out for rip currents, and have a blast out there riding the waves! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
