My twin sister, Dr. Suzan Thompson, joins me again in this episode for a discussion on All Things Marriage and Ministry. Dr. Thompson and her husband, Pastor Rohan Thompson, are launching a church called, Deeper Church and one of their goals is to help marriages and families thrive. Dr. Suzan and her husband often host a live show on their private facebook group called All Things Marriage (ATM). Dr. Suzan is a writer, editor, and teacher and now, pastor. She owns a writing coaching business called Zanscrit. You can find her at https://zanscrit.com/
As we dive into this conversation, the parable of the fig tree became much more symbolic than we thought. Listen as we uncover the truth about the fig tree and why it's an emblem for marriage as it relates to bearing fruit as well as to covering your spouse as God covers our sins.
