The Ultimate Universe is set on Earth-1610, where characters have new origins and modern-day retellings of their origin stories like one where Ultimate Spider-Man gets his powers from a genetically-engineered spider instead of a radioactive one, and Peter Parker works part-time as the Daily Bugle's webmaster.
