My guest this week is Erin Holding. Erin has been an international teacher for 9 years in Qatar. She is part of the middle management team and works on developing digital innovations across the academy as well as being an Upper KS2 teacher and computing lead. Erin is also the mum of 2 adorable boys under 2 who loves watching children grow and seeing passion motivate them to success.

In this week's episode we focus on 'going beyond' with technology:

- one-and-done learning activities, and what that looks like with technology integration.

- beyond the bell – what does this mean, what types of digital tools and devices can be used with learners to encourage learning beyond the bell such as: broader the broader technology tools of microsoft tools - flipgrid, digital notebooks on one note and more.

- going beyond the key stage and taking students off the conveyor belt to give them a choice-driven education inspired by the things they are passionate about

- Going beyond the walls - 1.How does using technology both in the classroom and taking the classroom to the world benefit student learning and play an important part in the recovery curriculum?

- Going beyond the tools – Is going beyond the tools we use for technology integration important for holistic and inclusive education and why?

- Going beyond the due date - flexibility, is it a good strategy for teachers to use right now by allowing students to ‘go beyond the due date’ and in taking their learning further?

As always you can learn more about the show and what we do as international educators on my blog at handsonlearninginesl.com.
