The Beautifully Broken Me Podcast has released its newest episode. Our current topic of discussion in this episode is: Rebuilding Yourself After a Toxic Relationship: Finding Closure and Moving Forward with the amazing T. Latoya Cunningham as our guest on the show.
In this episode, T. Latoya shared that; ending a relationship, especially a toxic one, can be difficult and painful. However, finding closure can help you move on and heal from experience. She provided a few steps you can take to find closure:

  1. Acknowledge the end of the relationship: Recognize that the relationship is over and that it is okay to grieve the loss.
  2. Reflect on the relationship: Take some time to think about the dynamics of the relationship and the reasons why it ended.
  3. Take responsibility for your part in the relationship: Own up to any mistakes you may have made and learn from them.
  4. Seek support: Reach out to friends and family, or consider talking to a therapist or counselor.
  5. Forgive yourself and your partner: Holding onto resentment and anger can prevent you from moving on.
  6. Set boundaries: If you have to see or interact with your ex, set clear boundaries to protect yourself.
  7. Practice self-care: Take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally.
  8. Allow yourself time to heal: Give yourself time to process the end of the relationship, and don't rush into a new one.

It's important to remember that everyone's healing process is different, and it may take time to find closure. So be patient with yourself, and don't be afraid to seek help if you need it.
