Christy Huff, M.D., is a medical doctor and a cardiologist. In recent years, she has not been practicing medicine because of the difficulties caused by protracted benzo withdrawal. For years, she suffered with multiple symptoms that made it impossible to continue working in the medical field. Today, she has dedicated her time to working with the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition, helping to educate doctors and the public about the dangers of benzodiazepines. The Benzo Info Coalition has many resources to help people who are beginning the journey of quitting benzos by tapering gradually, or dealing with the difficult withdrawal symptoms.
