Former RAF communications specialist, Pete White, lives with PTSD after the horrors he witnessed while serving in Afghanistan. Today, however, he is a successful children's author who is using his experiences to help children to understand their own emotions, as well as those of their parents. Speaking from the heart, in this episode of The Brave Front Pete tells us about a journey with his mental health that has seen him diagnosed with psychosis and driven to the point of suicide, as well as how an inspired night of writing has helped to turn his life around. We've also got a copy of Pete's first book, The Anxious Knight, to give away.
