This week on the Couch, I look Cognitive Dissonance. I'm sure you've heard the term a lot because of Agent Orange, but I'll explain what it is and why it can cause you to change the way you think or behave (like I did) or cause to ignore new information (like 45 and his followers do). I also look at the act of admitting you're wrong, why it can be hard to do, and how you can improve your ability to admit that you're wrong. Note: I'm still looking for feedback from moms (especially black moms) who have experienced postpartum depression.
