This week on the Couch we finish up on our conversation surrounding postpartum depression. I read listener feedback and interview my sister-in-law, Shelby Strong. We talk about her struggle with postpartum depression after having my nephew. We also talked about ADHD in adults and her struggle with it. We discussed flaws in the mental health field and how privilege can play a big part into the quality of care people receive in medical and mental health care. We talked about Shelby's journey for advocating for racial justice and equality.
