If you’ve ever been in muscular pain or experienced reduced Range of Motion, you know how those feelings can derail your workouts. My talented cousin, Matthew Verboom, educated me on a therapy known as Muscle Activation Techniques. He took me through an assessment and did some work that absolutely helped my body move correctly. In essence, I’ve become more fit because I’ve got improved Range of Motion and decreased pain! MAT is about reconnecting your brain to your body so your muscles work the way they’re meant to. In this episode, Matt talks more about how he came to be a MAT practitioner and what someone can expect through the treatment process.
