Codependency is a construct that most have heard of but few truly understand. Codependency affects most of us and has lasting and destructive consequences on the main area of our lives: our relationship with self, self-esteem and personal goals and ambitions; our relationships with others; our spiritual life; and our ability to reach our potential in life. As a psychotherapist for 16 years now, and as someone who has radically healed my own codependency patterns, I have learned the ins and outs of codependency healing. I have a keen eye for identifying codependency in my life, as well as in the lives of my private practice therapy clients. And I have seen that it makes all the difference in the treatment prognosis of my clients. Actually, it's often the missing piece of the puzzle that allows people to see themselves and the issues and problems that affect their lives clearly. it is often the key to finding themselves, their path for healing and even their life's purpose.
