מִפִּתְגָמֵי הַצֶּמַח צֶדֶק
The Tzemach Tzedek used to say:
אַ פְּנִימִי אִיז
“A pnimi is a chassid
אַז בּעֶטעֶן אַ בְּרָכָה אוֹיף עֲבוֹדָה
for whom the very notion of asking [his Rebbe] for a blessing for [success in his] avodah
אִיז דאָס אַל יִשְׁעוּ בְּדִבְרֵי הָבֶל
is ‘empty talk.’
אוּן עֶס דאַרף זַיין תִּכְבַּד הָעֲבוֹדָה עַל הַאֲנָשִׁים
[A pnimi understands that] the approach should be to ‘let the work fall heavily on the people.’”
