Writer/producer Rebekah Weigel began her career in the field of psychology, which informed her eventual work in the entertainment industry.
With a strong sense of story, strategy, and ability to rally, she writes and produces with her husband, Joshua, bringing powerful and spiritually significant stories to the screen.
Her work includes the critically acclaimed short film, The Butterfly Circus, which became a viral phenomenon, impacting countless lives around the world and winning over 35 film festival awards, including the esteemed Clint Eastwood Filmmaker Award, presented by Clint Eastwood at the Carmel Film Festival.
Rebekah is also a foster/adoptive parent, and has become a fierce advocate for the reversal of the foster crisis in America. This work led to her to co-write, SOUND OF HOPE: The True Story of Possum Trot. An independent feature film aimed at ending the foster crisis.
